The Bangladesh Medical Students’ Society (BMSS) is set to host the National General Assembly (NGA) 2026 on Friday, 28th August 2026 at North South University (NSU), Dhaka.
This flagship event is one of the largest annual gatherings of medical students, young doctors, and delegates in the country.
The day-long assembly will run from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM and is expected to bring together approximately 800 participants from medical colleges across Bangladesh.
This year’s theme is “One Pledge, One Bond: Doctor’s Rights Above All.” The theme underscores BMSS’s commitment to advocating for doctors’ rights, professional dignity and unity within the medical community.
Key Highlights
NGA 2026 will focus on the academic, clinical and professional development of future physicians through interactive and skill-based sessions, including: Clinical Skills Session,Dental Innovation,Research & Quality Improvement of Medical Education,Public Health & Human Rights, Reproductive Health
The program will also feature Panel Discussions, Career Development Sessions, External Sessions, Standing Committee Sessions, Plenary, Activities & Exchange Fair and Research Abstract Presentations.

“Through NGA 2026, we aim to create a national platform for medical students and young doctors to connect, exchange knowledge and build collaborative networks,” said the organizing committee of BMSS.
